Claude AI becomes an office assistant for workers

Anthropic, the company that created Claude (an AI assistant you can chat with), is rebuilding its app to do much more than just answer questions. The goal is to make Claude work like traditional office software — think of it as a tool that sits alongside programs like Word, Excel, and email.

Right now, Claude mainly works as a chatbot: you type a question, it gives you an answer. But Anthropic wants to expand this. They're working to make Claude understand your office tasks better and help you complete them more directly.
